Campaign development workshop for LOVE & TROUBLE
We facilitated an initial campaign development workshop for LOVE & TROUBLE, the latest documentary film by Amy Hardie (THE EDGE OF DREAMING, SEVEN SONGS FOR A LONG LIFE), produced by Sonja Henrici Creates (THE OIL MACHINE, MERKEL, I AM BREATHING). The film is a thoughtful and intimate exploration of PTSD through the story of Kenny and Kerry, a young couple who we meet as they get married at age 20. They come to the wedding with high ideals but hidden pasts. We follow their recovery over ten years, through psychiatric medication, talking therapy, horses, race-cars and ice swimming as they emerge with new insights and resilience for their life ahead. LOVE & TROUBLE is not only an uplifting film about trauma recovery but also a great love story.
The film is currently in post production and will be released later in 2024.
During the two-day workshop, we generated ideas for target audiences, outreach activities, and impact goals that align with the themes of promoting mental health awareness and accessing therapy services for trauma recovery. Through various discussions and exercises, we brainstormed a comprehensive impact campaign strategy that includes a range of activities, from social media engagement and community screenings to partnerships with relevant organisations and influencers. Although plans have yet to be finalised, we have agreed on core activities and look forward to developing and delivering this campaign over the course of 2024.
