Are you a director or producer of documentaries and you want to develop a convincing strategy for distribution and dissemination for your next film?

The Film Centre and the Audiovisual Federation Wallonia- Brussels, VAF and the Creative Europe Desk Vlaanderen Wallonie-Bruxelles offer you the opportunity to maximize the potential of your project by participating in a high-level workshop on outreach strategy and distribution of documentaries organised in association with EDN (European Documentary Network).

The purpose of the workshop is to arrive at a concrete plan tailored to each selected film project. You can participate with a project in development or as an observer.
 
With the help and guidance of two international experts, each team will have to:

• Build a concrete plan to release the film in documentary markets;
• Identify target audiences;
• Target potential distribution partners;
• Define key elements and the equipment necessary for outreach campaigns.

The workshop will be in English. It will be led by trainers Ben Kempas (Film & Campaign, Scotland) and Ove Rishøj Jensen (EDN, Denmark). A maximum of 6 projects will be selected (3 Flemish and 3 Francophone).
